Default Well this was interesting

Started noticing a vibration coming thru the seat, not steerung wheel seat. Read further and youll understand why I point that out. Found bad rear u joint but feared more. Replaced said u joint vibration Still there. Took a peak inside rear diff and found 1 stripped spyder gear. Got hooked up with a new one from Paul Grant! Replaced it. Vibration still there. Pulled the fill plug on the front diff, took a peak inside only to find the carrier split into. Again props to Paul Grant for the 2nd diff. Now you may be asking what the hell I did to destroy both front and rear diff's, nothing... The conclusion we came to was that the spyder gear was busted since day one of me buying her and over time being pulled by front end only the carrier gave way. RIP! Now before we go all "what a dumb *** for not noticing" well I guess we can go there. This is my first Disco and like so many it's been a love hate relationship but wouldn't have it any other way.

can never know something is cracked inside a diff without looking. Good thing you found it. its surprising that it would still contain the spyder gears without all the pieces flying out and piling up. Good thing you caught it and didn't get stranded !
