Well, it was too good to be true
Well it's also what caused your driveshaft to fail, too. The rear wheels want to track shorter than the front wheels in a turn. The center diff allows the front and rear driveshafts to turn at different speeds to allow for that. By locking the CDL and driving on pavement for who knows how long a tremendous amount of stress was placed on the driveshafts. The good news is driveshafts are fairly cheap, as are new ujoints.
Well, I removed the front shaft and it is driving fine. Only thing i can't figure what the hell it goes to is the shaft in this pic..
you can see it towards the top right in this pic..

and centered in this pic...

For the driveshaft? Since I couldn't find where it goes!
Sidenote - called a junk yard to see how much theyd charge for the front driveshaft used. $250!!!!! A new one is a little more and custom "stronger" from what I looked at.. what the hell!

Thats insane. Based on google reviews, there are a couple of salvage yards like that here too.
I dont understand how people stay in business by essentially relying strictly on customers who are in a dire emergency or do absolutely no research.
