Default Welp, Reckon it's Time

Passed the 310,000 mile mark a little while ago.
Things are starting to give out at a rate that I'm getting the message from the ol' fella that he's ready fir a rest and then some attention.
Oil cooler lines started leaking, p/s box is puking, speed sensor crapped out, t/c front output shaft bearing is on the way out, and the master cylinder is weeping.
This all started happening at the 275k-ish mile mark.
However, this past Friday the wife and I were heading into town for our normal dinner and adult beverages (wobble-pops) when I experienced the silky glide of the brake pedal as it made its way to the floor. Popped the bonnet and behold! Reservoir at defcon 2. Managed to get to parts house and grabbed a pint. Mosied home after eats and such.
Discovered that the booster is leaking inside the cabin.
So yeah, expediting repairs on the Ranger (it only needed a transmission) and going to park the rover for a minute.

310k is impressive. I need to start stockpiling parts today!

That's impressive mileage. Fortunately, if you're a decent mechanic, none of those are major issues. But very time consuming. These Disco's could really be kept on the road indefinitely with the right care. The brake m/c & booster lived a good life. Esp time.

I've rebuilt several steering boxes of different makes. If you have any questions, maybe I can provide some tips. It's outlined in the Rave manual pretty well though. You can do the job just fine w/o an inch/lbs wrench IMO. Quadruple-check, however, the leak isn't the lower p/s reservoir hose leaking fluid onto the steering box (very common)? Is it the steel or hose on the oil cooler lines which are leaking?

Congrats on hitting 300k.

Think I might be the third owner. Was sitting for three years when PO needed to get rid of it due to move back in '15-ish. Had 212k on it.

Believe the only major things I haven't torn into is the auto trans and transfer case & front axle. Had the engine out in late '18. Crankshaft Position Sensor bracket came loose. Thread on here about what all I did.
Been my daily driver for a good 4.5-5 years and just shy of 100k.
Feel the timing is right. I recently purchased a reman trans for my Ranger and had just started that job.
After that, I'm gonna need to rebuild the steering pump on my IH tractor.
Fun never ends.

Oh, I'll get around to getting the fella back on the road. I dig it too much to let it sit idle for long.
