Ditto with my Grabbers 235/85/16 I got them in some thick mud once, and it was end of story,lol; then again there all terrain tires, so what do you expect? I've had them for over a year now, and they still look brand new.

I find it is pretty common for Disco's to shed parts as they get on in age.
Mine shed that little exhaust pipe while on the PA Turnpie returning from a Golf outing. Fell off at 70 mph. What a roar it had with that off.
Went off-roading in the mountains, one of the factory running boards surrenderred it's hold and let go while on a large rock.
I snatched the other one off as well as the front airdam and all that plastic end cap stuff. Really like the improved access getting under the vehicle to change the oil and various other items.....
With the running boards off and the new springs and shocks on, I can get underneath the beast on a creeper. When I first got it, no way.
RN has a bumper sticker that say caution: parts may fall off at any time. We should all be sporting one of those
