That's an O2 sensor. If any oil dripped down from the valve cover it would smoke. Might want to snug up valve cover bolts, 8mm 12 point very slim 3/8 or 1/4 inch drive socket.

I thought it was an O2 sensor. So my disco is stalling. I just replaced the battery, plugs & wires, fuel filter and fuel pump. When it stalls the battery and oil light come on. Could that O2 sensor that's smoking cause that? Should I replace that O2?

Of course the battery and oil light come on when it is not running, thats because there is no output from the alternator and no oil pressure.
Like Buzz said, if oil is getting on it it will smoke, but smoke does not cause a engine to stall.
Neither does leaking oil.
We need to know when it stalls, i.e., under what conditions.

It seems to idle fine, I stalled when I was slowing down approaching stop signs. When it was given gas it would drive okay but anytime I would approach a stop it would cough and try and stall.

You probably need more of a "low maintenance" vehicle.

If it were me, I would start with a tune up: Change plugs & wires, clean throttle body & MF, and check ALL vacuum lines to start.

So I was just out checking my vacuum lines and it seems that I have a leak. The line that feeds into the firewall is cracked and will not hold that three way plastic piece at all.

How do I replace that one? Thanks.

I am not even sure what that is, but if you need one, look between your legs.
