That was actually my first impression before everyone got on the humorous comments. In theory though, wouldn't you know you had leak dye in something, had you owned a vehicle long enough?

Not if the AC had been serviced for a leak before you bought the vehicle the dye stays in the system. Could also have been from another vehicle on the road and he just happened to run through it and that is where it ended up

This thread came straight to mind today as I was helping a friend put a starter on his 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo. We had to remove the A/C line to make room for the starter to come out, and green crap that exact same color started dripping out. I'm going with Cooter. Where yours came from, I couldn't tell ya, but I'm going to second what he says.
