What's missing from this picture??
I am trying to figure out why my lower brake lights don't work and in the process I noticed these two plugs weren't plugged into anything. Wondering what's missing and if it is related to the problem at hand. I suspect something is missing because one of the previous owners apparently liked to remove interior electrical parts and not replace them
I have replaced the bulbs and brake light switch, checked the rear window defrost plugs for a possible short, checked fuses. All other lights in the housings function properly. Any ideas??

Probably not. I just looked in rave, and the pictures are awful, but they show a "connector view" that looks like that plug. If you look in the 1997-1999 ETM and search for C448, you'll see that connector, and it's talking about rear air.
They must have wired it up for everything, whether it had it or not. My 1996 had it.... it was kind of interesting, it used the alpine window on that side as part of the duct work.

so now what?
I have been trying to go through the RAVE and it seems that there is nothing in mine that specificly says 1994 Discovery it seems that they start at 1995 and the electrical troubleshooting manual starts at 1995 Left Hand Drive as matter of fact they all say LHD in that sub-category...Is there a difference between them. I am under the assumption that all 3.9L Disco's were the same...Anyway I still have no clue how to fix my brake light issue.
