Default what's thread size/pitch for u-joint zerks

I'm rebuilding my propshafts today and have found a local napa that has the flush fit zerks in stock, just need to verify size before i drive over and pick them up. Is it 1/4-28 or some other pitch? I'm using the neapco/pdq u-joints if that makes any difference. Tia

If you have new u-joints, take them with you so you can verify fit. I do not know what size they are, but they may even be metric?

Just something to consider here.
I just rebuilt four D1 driveshafts, two for me, two for my brother. I ALMOST went with the flush zerks. Here's why I didn't. Let's say for whatever reason I need to grease my ujoints on the trail, on en extended trip, in some remote area, etc. Just about everybody has a grease gun. But how many people do you think have that special little fitting you NEED for those flush zerks? Probably none. That would mean I'd have to keep one with me at all times. No thanks. I could just see that thing getting lost. For me its all about simplicity and field repairability.
Just a thought.

Good point about serviceability. If i went with the flush type i'd get two of the needle filler jobbers and add it to the tool roll and have a spare on the grease gun at home. If it came down to it and i REALLY needed to grease the u-joints whilst out and about I could always grab one from my spares kit or just swap one from some where else on the truck.

What is the benefit of the flush zerks? I could see there might be less chance of it getting busted off on the trail. But then again, it the zerk gets hit by something chances are the DS is going to sustaindamage too.
