Where to sell my Disco I?
#11
That's a sharp looking D1. Being that it's an SD even makes it better. Being that your the sole owner since new makes it a gem. Next time you and your wife decide to put feelers out list it in the "For Sale" section of the forum, you'll get plenty of action. There's no need to talk it down or feel insecure about selling it, it's lived in Florida where there isn't much of a rust issue. Clear coat/plastic fading is a very common issue no matter where the vehicle is located. Switches and what not are all common maladies with the D1 and it's what keeps this section of the forum alive and well, we can fix anything. Even with an overheat issue it is worth more than $500 and I'd bet a buck it would go over $2000 in a bidding war. If the radiator was the issue I could see $3000+ for it. I scan Craigslist often for older Rovers and what I see listed for $500 are very marginal vehicles that probably won't ever run right in their lifetime and are good crusher candidates. Yours does not fit that mold, not in the least. Woodcote Green is not a common color for 99's either, it's usually Black or White most commonly found.
