Sounds like that Chevy S10 pump would be a whole lot less trouble. How much does the White Shepard costs? That and two or three fluid changes would be a lot of hassle in my humblest opinion.

The white shepherd is for a leaky steering box, nothing to do with the pump. His pump burned out because he added too much crap to it.

At least they are refunding my money per their satisfaction guarantee. May work for others but didn't for me. Should have just put the S10 pump in to start with and saved the trouble.

The new pump will not cure your leaks unless it is leaking from the pump. You should power wash everything around the steering box and pinpoint where it is coming from. The factory clamps loosen on the return lines, and replacing them with worm type hose clamps will get you by for a little while. If it is leaking from the hoses, replacement is the best bet. If it is leaking from the box, find out where. If it is the bottome seal, make sure your pitman arm is tight. Getting a re-built box, or re-building yourself is the only way to go if the WS didn't work.

With the white shepherd, only 1/3 bottle. Any more, and you will kill your pump. You have to drive it to fix it. It will not be an instant fix. Once it has stopped, flush the fluid. Do not leave it in there for more than 30 days...
