Who's Poly?

Who's Poly?
The time has come to replace all the OEM bushings (230K miles) in an attempt to end the death wobble, and regain lost handling. I am sure whatever I put on this beast will be better than 21 year old cracked rubber w/ 230K miles, but given the effort to R&R bushings I would like to do it once with reliable h/w.
A sampling of advice (which seems to be dated), ranges from: “.. use only the OEM rubber”, “…don’t use the OEM rubber, has quality issues now”, ..”use SuperPro ($400 form AU/UK)”, ..”Vendor X’s poly doesn’t last”, ..”Vendor X’s poly is great”…. . Like the eternal “which sparkplug” or “which tire” question, it is all over the map. (given variations in installations, lift, use, this is somewhat understandable)
The SuperPro poly does look nice, and is clearly some different composition than rest, but the ~$400 cost and weeks to arrive is a detractor. The current poly sale at BA has caught my attention, thinking the firmer “red” would work well since it’s my DD, with some off road use.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I have a set of OEM rubber for the rear trailing links that I never used. It has been sitting in a box in the corner for a couple of years.
PM me if that is of interest. I'd have to check exactly what is in that box when I get home but I can guarantee it will be cheaper than buying it new.

IMHO, AVOID the RED Polybushings! These things are so stiff they will knock the fillings out of your teeth.
Call L8 and get a full set of ORANGE POLYBUSH (#GAL105D)... you will be very glad you did!
