In case I decide to eventually fix the headlight washers, will a D2 pump fit a D1 reservoir?

And in case anyone is interested (like you guys who told me to run away from this one - and you may still be right) so far I have invested the following and as of right now it drives OK (still have to verify the OD in/out symptom at 60), the steering is tight, both the ABS and check engine light stay off, all the windows work (not the sunroofs yet), all the lights work, the front and rear windscreen washers work, the radio sounds good, the AC blows cold, and it cleaned up pretty well.

Seeing it saved........most definitely priceless.

Looks like a winner to me. Can't say if the pumps are interchangeable, don't know.
