Question Window Regulator Removal?

I hate to post this, but I'm at a loss. Following the RAVE, I'm stuck at step 8. I'm unable to slide the upper plastic rollers out of its channel (pinched on the ends), and the three brass screws holding the channel onto the door are tight. It looks like just the pivot mechanism comes out in the diagram, but I'm not sure.

Do I need to loosen those three screws that the channel slides into? Is there a trick to getting the rollers out of the channel? As it is, in attempting to remove it, the rear window support arm fell out of the channel as the plastic roller there broke.

The two first regulator repair link in the tech section skips removal, and the second has a bunch of dead photos. Thanks.

Bend the rails straight with a screw driver and slide the roller out.

Thanks again, cup. That was my initial "MacGyver" reaction...but rarely are those correct.

Just bend them back when your done. They bend pretty easy.

easier to undo the 2 bolts and remove it from the door with the regulator instead of chancing breaking the bushing
