Default Window tint ideas...

I'm getting my windows tinted on Friday and I'm not sure which percentage I should go. Any one else here have a silver D1 that is tinted?. Also to those who do have tint, does it take away from that open feeling the Discos have?
The cheapest professional place I found is $270 for all the windows. I want to make sure I don't have any regrets.
Thank guys .

I live in Indy it's legal here just not as dark as mine! I think it looks cleaner (more factory) to have them the same .

I have a 96 D1 with tinted windows, and mine is red. In my opinion, it is the biggest drawback of the whole truck. Yes, it takes away from the openness. I hate it! Once it gets warmer it is coming out super fast!

I haven't tinted mine yet, but I may in the summer depending on how hot the sun shines around these parts. I like the openness of the truck, but do miss some of the privacy that darker tints brings. I've not yet been too far off-road, but I can imagine darker tints interfering with navigating obstacles.

And be honest with yourself if you're thinking about going super dark. Got good night vision? My bimmer is black on black with 5% on the rears, and 30% on the front doors...night driving is almost literally night and day compared to the stock disco.

I think I may just do the back half first and leave the front. I can always go back to have it finished.

Why would anyone want to live in a fish's bowels? That's just gross!

Mine came with tinted windows, no idea how much, and like someone else pointed out it was almost impossible to see at night. I ripped the front ones out but left the rest on, that's the best combination of "looking cool" and "seeing where the hell I'm going" it's gonna get.
