Default yet another oil leak HELP

So after replacing the upper oil coolant line...which was dumping a quart of oil a day...i found some sort of sensor that is leaking....any idea what it is called and or why it would be leaking?

It's dead center of the picture

Oil pressure sending unit.
AutoZone, $15.
Its easier to change with the oil filter off.

No, no seal, it cracks.
It is make of ceramic, it cracks and then leaks.

most senders are 1" or 1 1/16" (I have a stepped socket that was made to fit either size)
