Default $1500 d2

2000 Land Rover Discovery Series II

"needs engine rebuilt to stop multiple oil leaks"

Yeah, like a few twists on an 8mm 12 point on the valve covers and a bottle of White Shepherd is gonna fix this. Years ago as a blind noobie, I would have jumped on this.

At these miles, you have to wonder about engine tick, head gaskets, overheating, PS pump, water pump, radiator, front seal, rear main seal, everything that can hold fluid, sorry sunroofs, and the list goes on.

But.... maybe just a phone call while SWMBO is gone shopping...

That looks nice.
Offer $1000 and call it good.
If the D1 gets jealous well...

I wouldn't pay over $500 for a +200k Disco, especially a D2

I'd offer them 500 dollars, tell them how I'm a businessman and even though it may be worth 1500, by the time I get it cleaned up and put it on my showroom I'll be 1000 dollars into this car, and it wont make a profit I buy it 500 dollars. Then when they ask for 650, I think about for a second, and then accept. This is what Pawn Stars has taught me.

The Rover V8 is an interference engine.
