‘00 Disco with ACE “dance”
I go out of town with my wife on a much needed trip east, in her ‘02 Jetta TDI cause it still gets 45 mpg as opposed to my ‘00 Disco getting 14 mpg. Anyway, my adult son borrowed the Disco as his truck was in the shop. Driving to visit an ill friend, pouring down rain, and suddenly the truck starts bobbing and moving up and down like a ‘63 Chevy with hydraulics, and the magic ACE light on first red, then amber. I tell him to park the truck in my garage and let it sit.
He does and I get back 4 days later, all is dried out and runs and drives like a champ.
My thought is something got wet, and has now dried out. Any thought as where to look and apply di-electric grease to electrical connections.
Thoughts from the group would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Sounds like you have a sunroof leak, common enough. Water can drip down through the glove box area, there which the ACE computer sits. May want to check the carpet, and the foam underneath the glove box area for moisture.
