just replaced upper intake gaskets and valve cover gaskets, throttlebody gasket, got everything put back together and hooked up. now when i start it, it revs high - dont know how high it will go, i shut it down right away. vacuum hose? 189,000 miles and maintained regular since i got her 10 years ago. thanks!

 

Check your throttle cables, if they are too tight she will rev like crazy and stay there. Pretty easy to set them up wrong if you are a bit tired
