Default 01' DII fog lights inop

OK I have a 01' DII, It has the factory brush guard with the factory 7" round fog lights. I have what appears to be a OEM button on the cluster surround that has a pic of a foglight and a "2" in it. I turn that button on with the ;lights on and the button does not light up and nor do the fogs.

Am I using the correct switch? Is there something to look for that may be causing them to not turn on?? Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!!

If the lights and switch are wired correctly, and per OEM, they only work with your high beams. If turned on, while high beams on, when headlights are switched to low beam, they turn off.

The large fogs on the brush guard are only meant to work with the high beams on???

Well I went outside and turned the ignition to power, turned the headlights on and then turned the high beams on.. I pushed the fog"2" button and still nothing happens.
I did noticed that with the high beams on the lower fog lights will NOT turn on.

Is it possible its a blown fuse?? does anyone know WHICH fuse works the "2" fog lights?
Under the hood I see fuses for the standard fogs and those are good but I don't see a fuse for the "2" fogs

Perhaps a tour of the free RAVE tech manual and electrical troubleshooting guide is in order.

I downloaded it yesterday, I'm not good with electrical though. I couldn't find anywhere that shows the "2" foglight fuse though.

Have they ever worked for you? Are they original to the truck, or added after the fact? How are they wired? (i.e.- Using the factory wiring harness, or a separate harness, fuse, and relay setup?)

IIRC, the regular fog lights have to be enabled through a change in the BCU. Maybe these are similar?

I just got the truck this last weekend. They are OEM land Rover accessories. They worked at one time I'm guessing because both glass lenses are dogged from the lights.
When I push the switch the indicator light doesn't turn on. I don't know how they are wired. Where would the relay be???

I think someone posted once that the relay is built into the harness and it isn't replaceable. You can still get the harness. Some have also rewired them using a more generic harness.

The lower fog lights, the ones in the bumper, only work with the low beams. They will turn off when you hit the high beams. I'm assuming the #2 indicates the factory spots on the brush guard. Do you also have the rear fogs?
