Default 01 Disco 120k No Start

Just bought a 01 disco and i been having problems the last few days with it.

One day it wouldn't start at all. It will turn over and it wasn't starting. I tried giving it a jump to no avail. I ran a obd reader and it gave me a code that said System Voltage too High. I checked the battery and alternator cables and they seemed fine. I deleted the code and still no start.

The next day it started up fine. I took it to Autozone to have the battery/alternator/starter tested and it was fine. I also took it to Advance auto parts for the same tests and they all passed. No check engine light on either.

The day after and ever since it won't start anymore. There is no check engine codes. I am getting to spark at all and no fuel coming in either. I checked all the fuses as well.

I think it maybe security related. I have 2 keys and neither work. Or possibly a fuel pump or crankshaft sensor?

What are your thoughts? Or how can i test these things or diagnose some more?

CHances are it is the crank shaft positioning sensor. They are relativiely inexpensive but a little pain to replace. They will work intermittently so that is why sometimes it works then sometimes it will not. I would start there and then drive it til it needs it again.

They are right, if the crank sensor has failed, it will not send a signal to the ECU for the pump to activate as well as the coils to fire.
That high voltage code was most likely caused by jumping the truck.
In the future, always give us the 4 digit fault code numbers not what you think they stand for.
