Default 02 Disco 2 air suspension--weird

The 02 Disco that I just purchased will pump up the rear air bags rather quickly, the bags hold air for several days, they hold air if you bounce or aggressively roll the truck from side to side, but if you drive it for just a mile the air bags will drop to the bumpers and will bleed off faster than the pump can keep up. If you turn the truck off for a few minutes, the bags will pump up quickly again.

Any ideas?

BUMP
I'm having the same exact problem with my 99 Disco II.

Press the (suspension lift) button and the pumps lift the Disco very quick... and it holds for days (until you drive it at speed...then it lowers as it should), but this morning while I was waiting in line at a drive thru window, I put it in park and shut off the truck and the bags made a hissing sound and the rear bags deflated..... to the springs.

I simply started the truck again and they automatically aired back up and stayed that way (no problem).

I do think I have leak though, because I can hear the pumps working more often that I should.

Ideas... ?

I fixed mine by replacing the air bags and then calibrating the heights.

Hope this helps.

Are both sides dropping? Here is a good guide to the SLS http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f68/di...de-171995.html
