03-04 differences

Is there any differences in 03-04? Anything I should watch out for besides oil pump in 03. And is the vin range very accurate?

the 03's do not have a CLD. that is the biggest thing. i believe they still have the front drive shaft problem as the 03's

04 comes with CDL standard. 03 has no CDL ability unless you swap the transfer case or the CDL portion of it.

There's a big difference in the cost of 03 vs 04... if you're mechanically inclined enough to swap in the CDL yourself then you can save a big penny buying the 03. Just my 2c
