Does anyone know if a radio from a 03-04 will fit exactly into a 2000 disco? My 6 disc changer doesn't work and I like the look of a factory radio. I can buy a single disc 03- 04 for a reasonable price and really like working cd player in my disco. I'm not really considering a full upgraded aftermarket swap.

I have just installed new 6.5 kicker subwoofers and they sound great but I did have to make some "field" adjustments. Lol

 

It probably depends on which sound system you have. My 03 is a base model, S, and so it probably had the cassette player that the older Disco systems have, without HK. I bought a single disc CD player that said it was for Freelander and 03-04 Disco. It doesn't seem to have anyway to mount, and the antenna plug was different, but I was able to use an adapter.

 

The disc player is probaly the same as you purchased. I have a HK system and it would be great to find a factory cd player replacement that is an easy hook up. I don' t want to try and fix the 6 disc player if a easy head replacement can be done.

Anyone else with any knowledge?
