03-04 Saudi Grill... Almost.
So I was planning on using a 99-02 grill to make a Saudi Grill. I sold a user on here my extra '04 headlights and grill for an amount of money plus his old style headlights and grill back, but he never sent them and his account has since become inactive. I had already ordered the mesh, so I decided to go ahead and make a grill from the mesh alone. I didn't take pictures of the process or measurements, but here are some pictures of what it looks like and how it's mounted. From this it should be pretty simple to recreate. The only tools I used were an angle grinder with a thin wheel, a bending tool that I made, and some wire cutters to snip the ends off of zip ties. Here are the pictures:
I also found a set of 5 265/65/18 Cooper AT3s with half tread for 160 after mount and balance, so I jumped on them even though they're 32" (well, 31.6-ish) and I'm still at stock height. With no rear sway and front disconnected there is absolutely no scrub anywhere. Of course, you front bumper is trimmed how most are that are trimmed, as is my rear about 1.5", but I don't think there would be any trouble even if they were not.
