Default 03 Clock module replacement

First post, just got my vehicle. Among my checklist of things to do, my clock is not functioning correctly. Looks like some of the LEDs (?) may have burned out. I see the module includes the central door luck button. Do I remove the whole module and replace it? If so, how do I remove the module? Thanks!

I was trying to find it, but there was a recent post about a slick aftermarket clock that fits in the same location, and I think it included a couple of USB ports. Maybe someone who knows will chime in here.

As far as removing the existing module, slide an old hotel room key or license or CC or similar in on each side to release the spring-loaded clips and the whole thing should slide out. Then you can separate the clock to replace bulbs or whatever.

It helps to cut about 1/8" to 1/4" off one end of each card.

I found the aftermarket clock (link). Kind of a neat solution. The reviews say the clock is in 24hr time format only. My personal experience with 3D printing things is that they can become a bit fragile over time with wear and heat.

They use cheap ebay parts in a 3d printed housing. Check the pics for part numbers and the 3d print thread for a file.
