My good friend bought his 17 yr old daughter an 03' D2 a few months back and as predicted she got into a minor rear end accident. The bumper was cracked to pieces.

He asked me to find a reasonable one for him. Another friend had a black one, but wanted to much for it, so...

No modifications, almost. Brackets/steel crush cans mounted right up after removing the aluminum crush cans.

We just had to push the end caps forward and tighten the brackets from the end caps to the mounting on the bumper so they held in place and didn't creep back into the wheel well. Also drilled a hole on the inside lip of the end caps in the wheel well to tap into the inner fender plastic cover.

We even hooked up the headlight washers and I cut some foglight pigtails off a parts car, so its fully functioning!

 

Honestly it looks great!
