Question '03 D2 Radiator Plug?

So of course right after I put all new seals, t-stat, and hoses on my '03 D2, the little plastic plug on the bottom passenger side of the radiator is starting to leak.

I checked with AB and they don't sell it, its not even mentioned in the RAVE CD, and I couldn't find anything using the search function on here, hence this thread.

I am wondering if anyone makes a brass one or one that is going to be a little more heavy duty then the stock plastic one?

If not should I just call the LR dealer to get another stock one?

P.S. - before you ask, YES, i have removed it twice since I got the truck and i know it is probably my fault that it is failing. And, YES, I know i didn't need to remove it to flush the system either.

THANKS-

Get one from the dealer and then try to find a brass one from a plumbing supply or similar. I have a bleed plug in the top of my rad and I got a new replacement from Fastenal..

Probably won't find one at a plumbing supply. They are a BSSP thead, though some people use NP threaded plugs, but it buggers the threads.
I have some proper brass ones, $15 shipped. PM me if you're interested.

Question

So the D1 radiator plug is the same plug as the D2 uses for the diff plug. But I still can't locate the radiator plug for a D2.

I even called the parts department at the dealer and they say "there is no such part listed" and its not on any of their diagrams either.

What would you guys do?

I am guessing once the weather is nicer I am just going to have to pull the plug, try to save as much coolant as possible and search all over town to find a brass one that is the same thread pattern and depth. Unless one of you guys has already done the research on this...
