Default 03 DII Pack Rat ate crankshaft position sensor wires

The CPS wires were eaten through about 1” above the wiring harness connector. My question is whether an auto electric shop can splice these wires to provide continuity? I dont have a lift, so I am relying upon a shop to do it.
Thank you! Meanwhile, I’ll be hunting some rats!!!!

yes, but that location is a PITA. Too bad it was not chewed an inch below the CPS sensor connector.....

Default Thank you XRAD

I wish I had a choice in what the darn thing ate, but it is what it is.
At least it’s repairable, and I’ve got comprehensive insurance with only a $50
deductible.
Thank you!
