Default 03 disco 2" coil spacers... tire size?

like the title says....

i've already got an ARB winch bumper with bull bar. my next plans are to lose the running boards and mud flaps and pick up some 2" HD coil spacers. just wanting to know what the biggest tire i can get on the stock 18x8's (255/55/18) is with the coil spacers installed. thanks!!!

You don't want to put spacers on top of your warn out coils and shocks, you'll land up with a top heavy, out of control suspension off road.
Go for a lift, get some strong coils and shock, then if you still want add the spacers, then at least you will be able to handle the body weigh/center of gravity.

265/65/18

I recommend the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10. Your options in that size are limited, but I'm very pleased with those tires in that size on my '04.

sorry i dont get a chance to get on here much!!

what are my options for coils and shocks for about 2" on lift that will clear 265/65/18's cause i like that tire size and they make a bfg all terrain in that size also

then if i decide i wanna go bigger i'll get the spacers and support mods... i know the ome kit is about 600$ but id rather not spend that much if i dont have to. i used to be a jeep guy and parts are much cheaper!!!!

So you asked a question and think I am wrong when I say you will have massive suspension issues with blocks, trust me you will, BIG ones.
By the way, what are you planning on doping to strength your weak spider gears after you go bigger on the tires, you will blow your diffs without deal with this.
How about your front drive shaft, have you rebuilt it so it won't blow and possibily take out your tranny?
Also, are you aware that you have 3 open diffs, and if you plan on wheeling, you are going to need help?

mike, i show 265/65/18 as being 31.6" in diameter.

that's equivalent to 265/75/16...there are LOTS of people running that tire size with stock spider gears.

maybe im just stupid.... but show me where i said you were wrong. i said i wanted to get coil spacers. you suggested that i get a lift with coils and shocks. i said ok but i dont wanna spend a fortune so what can i get cheaper than the OME. then i said after i get the lift on i'll get the spacers if i decide i wanna go bigger AND i will get supporting mods (gears, driveshafts, pan hard bar... still researching this stuff)

call me crazy but i never said you were wrong about anything. i agreed with you.
