Default 03 Disco Help please

Hi guys I have 03 disco and have lots of problem.

what happen was about year ago I was start hear noise from SAI pump
and I Just did not care. and It would not operate anymore and car was running fine.
recently, i had chance to get a good deal on brand new SAI pump
so I bought it and replaced it.
problem started from here.T.T

1st is It would crank but no start(it start when it feel like; some times it start but i do not know why). I check the fuel and was fine but
no ignition. one of ignition repaly pole has grounded with SAI pump
but I do not know how.

2nd is when it starts up it drives perfact until S and M light in the dash
comes on. after those light comes on, it go to low gear and drive with
high RPM

3rd is it has oil leak from rear main seal. someone said that the oil could wet ecu or some elctrical component near there. it is possible?

I really thank for your time and look forward to get get answer from you.

Have your alternator and battery tested. Probably you need a new alternator. Check your ground connections also. Put some white shepards in the oil sump and see if that seals your oil leak.

1, most likely a crank sensor failing causing the no start.
2, clean and tighten the battery cable then as mentioned go get the battery/alternator check, should be between 13.6 to 14.4 volts.
3, Rear main is not causing your issues bit should be addressed, might want to buy a bottle of White Shepherd rear main seal treatment and use it before go to a possible expensive repair of pulling the tranny out to replace the seal.
