Default a 03 disco and a new hitch !

Hi Folks,

I need to setup a wire harness for hauling a trailer in BC next week.

Is there already wiring pre-run hiding around the back of the truck
someplace I can tap in to?

Or do I have to break in to the harness where the tail lights are?

Just wondering!?

Cheers'
Dave

Try this: http://www.discoweb.org/trailerwire/index.htm

Or just order a kit from AB or BP Utah. More money but much quicker. I wired my P38 up using a universal converter and never had any issues but I soldered all of the connections. If you plan to use some of those 3M Scotchlocks or a similar product to tap into the wiring, you will likely end up having problems down the road so a plug-in kit would be a better choice.

I used the kit from AB. Worth the money. It plugs in behind the passenger tail light.
