Haha, he'd never figure it out. His automotive knowledge past changing his oil (which he pays me or the quicky lube to do anyway) is exactly zero.

Looks like he opted to not bring the trailer. I hope he gets home without issue. I told him that if he heard it start knocking to shift to neutral and rip the park brake, I figure that's the only (slim) chance the transmission would have of surviving. I'll post back when I hear whether it lived or died.

Edit: Just making an edit instead of bringing the post back to the top. Ole' Frank made it home no problem.
