03 Discovery A/C not working

Man, this really helped me out today! I was w/o a/c for over 2 months and was putting off the repair since I had an a/c guy check it out and said it was an electrical issue and it would cost me quite a bit to repair. This morning while driving to the gym I turned on the a/c and hit that darn ECON button and cold air started blowing out the vents! I just cracked up and said "holy sh*t, it works!!!" Glad I came across your post, the heat in Houston is horrible! Thank you!

HAHAH yup! I was baffled for about a month... lol ECON to ME means... lighter power to AC not NO AC! lol I guess its so you can have the fan running

yeah, I have pushed the econ in.
Left it for days.
Then go to A/C again and just hot air.
I freak out for a bit, then press the econ again when I remember.
The compressor kicks in and - cool cool air.
glad you all are working.
