Default 03 discovery replace transmission

Just about to start installing a used transmission to replace my busted one on my 03 disco. I got a paper with the transmission from LKQ and it said something about reprogramming. Will I have to reprogram something on the car to get the transmission to work?

No you shouldn’t have to program anything. HP24 = just plug it in and go.

One issue to watch for...is the large orange plug. While plugging the two connections together, watch out for terminals being pushed out of the plug housing. Very common issue and it happen to me.
