'03 Fog light install tech question
Hello. I am adding in bumper OEM fog lights to my S model 2003. Since they are pre-wired I was wondering if anyone knew which collor switch connecter leads to the fogs from the passenger cabin. I have a choice of green (my vote) or black. You're probably thinking I'm in over my head ... and your right : ) I had no idea how difficult this would be. The wiring and bumber install are easy but I was told by the dealership to make sure I had the exact parts and I still may need to visit the dealership to tell the computer the lights are there. Apparently on the 03 and later models this is more of a mouse click than a switch. Just a warning to anyone considering this modification... do your homework. Thanks for the help, any tips are greatly appreciated. Cheers !

RE: '03 Fog light install tech question
Hi
The fogs are controlled by the BCU, thats why the factory switch is only "momentary". The BCU does all the switching. It also needs to be configured as to which way the fogs will work, either with dipped headlights or side lights etc, this is why testbook / rovacom is needed.
I "think" its the green connector, but im not 100%, Ill have alook at mine and post an update, mine is only a 2001 model, so it may be different altogther
