I haven't fixed mine, but this seems to be the culprit...I've ignored it and have been just lifting this little latch up just before closing the fuel door and it seems to work

I just ripped off my fuel door and replaced the cap with a locking one. Painted it all Black with the remaining paint form a rattle can touch up on my brush guard...

Oh, failed to mention I got in an accident and scraped up that whole side and already had replaced my passenger fender and door...

Anyways, locking gas cap was only a little more than that little plastic part, and I didn't have to wait on it.

I have been doing that for about 2 years now - LOL. I have been meaning to order the part but every time I put in an order I always forget that or something else. And I have probably spent $3k with AB too.
