Default 03' Rear door actuator

How hard is it to repair the rear door actuator or replace? Mine decided to stop working today...

There seem to be a ton of rear door issues in the forum lately. I lust replaced the actuator in mine on Tuesday as wd40/penetrating spray did nothing. Pretty easy job to complete -- easier if you don't have a sub-woofer in the back. BPUtah has the best price I could find on new actuators, although a used one is more economical if it lasts awhile.

Just remove the sub and rear panel. The lock mechanism slips right out after disconnecting the connecting rods and removing the three torx screws that hold it in.

P.S.-- there is a ton of info regarding stuck rear doors in the forum. Just do a search.
