Default 035:Rear Right out valve open circuit

I received this code from my ABS Amigo: 035:Rear Right out valve open circuit

Does anyone know exactly what this code means? A few years ago I had a local place do the ABS modulator fix on my 2001 Disco 2. It mostly took care of the three amigos, except for when the front right wheel sensor would throw a code and -- at that time -- I could simply clear that code and turn off the three amigos with my ABS Amigo.

Now I have this new code and my ABS Amigo is unable turn off the three amigos. It gets to the green blinking light, but it doesn't turn off the lights.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Ok. So I did a little more research on the RSW webpage and Rave and I'll go back and check C0500 and the circuit continuity for C0506/10 -C0501/10. Any tips? Also, does anyone have experience with this particular code?

Ok, so I'm replying to my 6 month old message, but I still have the same issue. This weekend I replaced both my rear hubs (got a good deal on both). I thought that I had this issue kicked as the Amigos were adios for one week, but today they came back. With the same code! Any help here?!?!?!

Obvously, yours is not one of the common faults, I suppose. Let me try and help. The fault would seem to come from a circuit monitor, much the same way as a lamp out warning. I would diagnose it by looking at the diagrams and finding the solenoid coil circuit that matched the description, then test it with an ohmmeter, compared to the othe rsolenoid circuits.

I have not looked this one up yet, but if you do not have the schematics, or if you need a little help understanding the circuit, just help and one of us can probably give some guidance.

And... good luck!

** Update!: I have attached the schematic for the ABS module's connector for the valves. I would remove the connector shown and test the external circuit to ground for each of the "output valves" and compare. Either you should find corrosion on the connector pins for that valve, or the thing is telling you what is wrong and you will be reading an open circuit on the output valve (to earth).
I don't know whether it is possible to change the valve, but I assume getting a scrapped ABS pump unit is the way to go.

And again, ask for more guidance, if you need it.

Closing the loop on this one (in case anyone else encounters this issue in the future). I used my ohmmeter and low and behold found that the pin from the modulator to the grey and purple wire in the harness (which is for the rear right outlet solenoid valve) had no resistance -- unlike the other pins. To get confirmation that the ABS Modulator was the culprit, I took it to my local Land Rover guy. He agreed and had a good-working used modulator in stock (it was way overpriced based on what I see on eBay, but I was already there). Problem solved - for now.

Imagine that! It was actually telling you what was wrong!
