Default 04 Disco Dilemma

I recently got in a fender bender (front left bumper/fender) and the Insurance company put the Vehicle as a total loss. If I keep the vehicle and with the money they will give me I could rebuild with used parts for roughly the same money with a new after market bumper. The only reason I am looking into this is I have done the Suspension and wheel upgrades to it already so if I got into something else I would have to start at square one. Any suggestions or advice, even someone in the Denver area that could help a guy out.

Used fenders are cheap. As long as the frame is straight I would buy a new steel bumper and fix it up.

I dont think they would total an 04 just for a bumper and fender, you might want to read the full appraisal of damage there is probablly hidden damage

Send me your number and post a picture so we can see what sort of damage they are looking at. Is the frame bent?

If the frame is bent and the Disco is totaled, you can buy it back and then part it out. It's more work but you'll probably get enough money back that you can buy another Disco. I have heard of a few guys have done that with their Disco's.
