You did not mention if it had any oil leaks. I haven't yet seen one without some kind of a minor oil leak. If this was mine, I would do nothing about it, since you do not have a P0303 (cylinder misfire on #3) due to lower contribution driven by lower compression. I would just switch to a Delvac or Rotella Diesel engine oil, 5W40 or 15W40.
