1.4 Transfer Case?
Have a '03 D2 with a CDL transfer case in it. Don't know the history on the swap, but do know it leaks oil a lot, has chunks of metal that come out while draining, and won't shift into Lo any more. Time to replace it.
I'm running 285/75r16 tires, full rack, cargo box, ARB bumper, winch... and with the family plus a bunch of gear it's a bit under-geared for highway hills. Engine is good order, about 25K miles on a Tuner 4.6.
Thinking of going from the stock 1.2 ratio to 1.4 (for Hi). Anyone else with the about the same size tires do this swap and have feedback?
