Default 1 thumbs up, 1 thumbs down

Just wanted to share a couple of recent parts supplied experiences. Big thumbs up to Rimmer bros, Uk based but super fast delivery, cheaper than partsgeek, real customer service, bought an ignition switch for less than $60 free ship and rear lens $28 free ship. Can't beat that ! On the big thumbs down are a Us outfit called carid, mostly
wheels tires and trim but after my terrible experience to be avoided like an out of date chicken sandwich ! Good luck !

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve used Rimmer Bro’s a lot and have always been very happy with them. I’ve never heard of the other outfit before.

getting parts in Canada is way different than getting them in the US - no idea why but it seems to be improving for the US when it comes from the UK

Just in case you have not had any dealings with PartsGeek - here is the scoop

They charge shipping
You pay return shipping (even if they send wrong part)
You pay a "restocking fee" (even if they send wrong part)
