1 vs 2 row Radiator

1 vs 2 row Radiator
I read where 1 row radiators cools better than 2 rows in some cases. I know the D2 ome is 1 row. A lot of aftermarket is 2 rows. I notice that I been running hot with the 2 row. I'm switching back to an 1 row to see if my D2 can keep its temps down. Which is better for the D2?

The number of rows has no relation to the cooling capability of a radiator.
A one row can have wider, thicker or longer tubes than a four row with narrower, thinner and shorter tubes.
It is about the mass of coolant held in its core that influences its performance.
Tubes spacing and number of fins also influence performance.
Stock radiators have 1mm thin tube gaps; provide short heat travel and intimate heat transfer but prone to clog with coolant deposits.

Would you elaborate on what you mean by in line T stat and HD fan and clutch? Are these direct replacements for the oem parts. Living in Las Vegas, NV I'm always looking for a way to keep my D2 engine cool. Thank you.

In line T state is a inline thermostat mod that some of us D2 owners have done. Heavy Duty (HD) Fan clutch. However, I'm thinking that a 2 row radiator might not best for our rigs. Stock is a 1 row.
