Default 16 in rims

So I came across some 16X8 rims online, he claims they are factory size for 2000-2002 Range Rovers. Will these fit on a 2003 Discovery 2?

Heres the post:

I have a set of four alloy rims that I purchased for a project and didn’t use. Only one has a center cap. They’re taking up space so no reasonable offer will be refused. These are factory wheels for the Range Rover, LR part #ALY72163U10. Land Rover calls them the “Lightning” model. The rim size is 16" x 8" and it will fit a 2000-2002 Range Rover. They may fit certain model years of the Discovery II but I haven’t tried so you would need to measure, first.
The rims are stamped with the following information: AWI Land Rover E - DOT, Tubeless ALY72163, 8J x 16 x 57.0 AH2. All are clean and in very nice, new like condition. There are a few minor scuffs from being stored that could probably be easily polished out. The tires are mix-n-match road tires that have about ¼” of tread left.

As far as I know those wheels should fit your 2003. I'm pretty sure the 2000-2002 Rangie is still the P38 which shares the same drivetrain as your 2003.

Not to say no, but I believe all Range Rovers had 18"s. Call and get the exact bolt pattern, should be 5 on 120mm.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, I dont know much about range rovers, but I have seen that they tend to have larger wheels. So as long as they are 5x120 lug pattern I am good? Dont have to worry about offset or anything?

Would it be the same drive train even though the diffs and transfer case are on the driver side and not on the pas side like on DII's?

Yeah those 18 in rims look about the same as what they put on Discovery SE/HSE models. The same ones I am interested in taking off my 2003 disco.

ANY wheels that fit a D2, will fit a P38 Range rover and vice versa

Over here they came with both 16" and 18" wheels. The picture jycsalas posted are the 18" hurricanes and are fitted to both D2's and P38's.

Yes the bolt pattern is the same, but its a mis conception that the drive train is idetical as there is a quite a LOT of differences.
