Default 17 inch aftermarket wheels

Ok, maybe I'm odd but here goes. I have been looking for the right off road tire for a while. I have found that, in North America anyway, that there are more brand ,model and size options of tire for 17 inch rims than 16s.
I have heard that there are after market wheels with our bolt pattern. I can't find them.
Anyone know where to find 17 inch rims for a Dii?
Thanks.

For the most part, there are more 16" tire sizes available. Either way, you want all the sidewall you can get.

You could also get 17" steel rims.

Tire Rack has some. You could also get them from Discount/America's Tire, they will install it for you with tires. They will also make sure that your choice or rim and tire is compatable with your D2.

Summit Racing has a pretty big selection. Bolt pattern is a 5x4.75, width is 8", backspacing of 3.5-4" is typically a good choice. You'll need new lug nuts.

Should be 4.72... but I suppose they're just wheels, some variation shouldn't vibrate TOO badly.

That's nearly no difference, and if you torque them in the right pattern they will center up. I've talked to a few guys running Cragars with that pattern no problem.

FWIW, I have 16x8 steelies for $75/each brand new from TF. Not aware of any readily available 17s for the D2, or any other rover with the proper pattern.
