Default 18 inch Tire Sizes,DII

Hey guys I would like to know what the biggest tire size is possible for the stock suspension on a 2003 Discovery. I'm planning on getting a terrafirma 2 inch lift but my tires are shot and I need to get new tires immediately. So I'd like to get the biggest size possible on the stock suspension, so that when I lift the truck it will still look beefy and aggressive.

Will a 265/75/18 fit on the stock 03 Discovery?

I won't be taking it off road, not until the truck would be lifted. I'm looking for all terrain tires. I've been looking into General Grabber AT2's, Duractrac, and Wrangler Authorities. All suggestions welcome, thanks

Thanks for your response. Do you know if a 265/70/18 will fit? What's the biggest size I could run?

I know 255/60/18 will fit for sure. Not sure what next bigger size will work without rubbing or stressing suspension.

I don't mean to dig up and old thread but I really need to get confirmation on this, does anyone know if 275/65/18 (32.1) will fit the stock ride height on a 2003 Discovery? I'm going with BFG TK'O's, should I expect rubbing with that size?

Could I even take it to 285/65/18(32.8) or 275/70/18(33.2)?

I'll be getting a 2 inch terrafirma kit very soon but I basically need tires immediately

Thanks

Use the dweb tire sizes as a guide and the tire size calculator to convert from 16" to 18".

265/65/18. It's a small 32" tire. They'll still rub at full lock but you shouldn't have any trouble with them stuffing the fenders.

Which brand you get in that size? I've been sizing/pricing different options to see which tire is made in which size. I'm thinking of going either:
Stock: 255/55/18
or...
265/65/18
265/60/18
255/65/18
255/60/18
Each tire runs different options and it will come down to which tire/price in that size is available.

I plan on going with 255/55/18(so I can buy 4 tires and not 5 lol), I plan on getting the nitto terra grapplers.

I do know the grapplers, grabber at2 and many other nice tires are available in series 60 though and run 10-20 dollars more than 55.
