1996 Disco Anti-Theft/Fuel Pump Cut Off
I Just had some work done on my 96. It sat for about 4 months without being driven. I armed and disarmed the factory anti-theft system with the key in the door. Now the computer will not turn my fuel pump on. It started and ran after the work was done but the next morning after I disarmed it with the key it wont start. Is there any way to fix this without going to the dealership?
OK its not an anti-theft issuebut the engine management fuse pops every time I turn the key forward. Obviously its a wire issue. Any ideas on where to start?
It sounds like you have a wire grounding out.
Mice like Rover wires.
Has it rained recently, I had my ECM open and it had signs
of water in the dust on one of the ECN board.
I can not think of anything else that maybe the cause.
