check to see how much a main relay is, if it's not that much, it's worth the price of admission to be able to cross that off your list of possibilities,

If it is it, then that answers your question.

It does sound like a candidate.

Actually the ECU should be getting power and ground cause that is what controls the Multi Function Relay on the passenger side engine compartment. So if the fuel pump is running it should be workin. Also on a Series II when you crank the engine if the ECU is picking up a signal from the crank sensor the CE light will go out. Can't remember if DI is the same.

He say's his fuel pump is pumping. I checked the diagram and the fuel pump relay is activated by the ECU. No ECU no fuel pump. I hate diagnosing over the computer! ha

If he's getting a check engine light, he should scan it to see what's up.

If no check engine light then it's something mechanical. or the OBD is screwed up.

yeah, diag over the internet stinks

No check engine light, and I can't read the ECM. Tried 3 different scan tools. Can the OBD cause it not to start? I don't think it can but could be wrong.

An earlier post you said you have no spark/fuel. You do now? You need to dive into the wire diagram and start checkin some things. Do the injectors have power on the power side? Stuff like that. I'm not sure but i wonder if your truck got imobilized. They have a disc for the older trucks that does a thing called an F-OUT with the T-4. But you would have to go to the dealer for that and find a guy thats been there for awhile to know what you were talkin about. I think there is an old operation pride bulletin for this. But i'm still not sure after reading all your posts about the symptoms. I'll read it all again and make a few calls to some of my old timer rover buddies tomorrow.
