Thanks, I'll verify with my dealer but it looks like it will be towed to them. I think this could be the problem. Again thanks.

Ok, you said the CEL came on when you turned the key on, and that you had good fuel pressure. Now you say that you don't? The CEL should come on with the key and then it will go out when it gets a signal from the CPK.

If the light does not come on with the key and sometimes you have a delay, I would tow it to the dealer and have the immobiliser modified.

I talked with the dealer today and they agree its the service bulletin you sent me. There is no CEL when the key is turned on. What is the CPK? Im going to let them check it because I think there is a problem with the engine control module also.

just another way to say crankshaft position sensor. For the engineers :The Cpk index revises the Cp index to account for the location of the process in the equation.

If the target of your specifications is midpoint between the specifications, the amount off-center is the absolute difference between the mid-point and the process average. i.e. off-center=absolute value of (Target-mean). The factor K is calculated by dividing this off-center amount by half the specification spread. i.e. K = off-center/[(USL-LSL)/2] Multiply this by 100 to get the percent your process is off-center.

So, if you are centered on the target (assuming the target is mid-point between the specifications) the k=0 and Cpk=Cp.

Cp is crankshaft position at TDC and K is the position relative to TDC
