This might be a really dumb question, but my friend just got a 1997 Discovery SE7 and even after flipping through the owner's manual, we can't figure out how to adjust the headrests. Specifically, making them go up and down.

There is a little button on the bottom of the headrest that you need to push that locks them into place.

 

We tired looking on both the driver and passenger headrests, but found no buttons of any sort. Is this normal?

 

You are you looking of the front I assume, the back has no adjustment.
Mine has a little button on one of the metal rod things goes into the seat.
